Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Novren Group, Inc. (“Novren,” “we,” or “us”) collects, uses, and shares information when you visit novren.ai or use the Novren services that firms access through it (the “Services”).

Information we collect

• Account information. When you sign in with Google or Microsoft, we receive your name, email address, and basic profile information from that provider.
• Profile details. Information you add, such as your display name and phone number.
• Connected account data. If you connect Outlook, Gmail, or Todoist, we access data from those accounts with your authorization. For a mailbox, this includes email messages and their metadata. For Todoist, this includes the access needed to create and manage tasks.
• Communications. Information you send us, for example when you email us to arrange an introductory session.
• Technical information. Cookies that keep you signed in, and standard logs such as IP address, browser type, and the pages you request.

How we use information

• To provide, operate, and secure the Services, including sign-in and connected accounts.
• To run the workflows your firm enables, such as turning actionable email into tasks.
• To communicate with you and respond to your requests.
• To maintain, debug, and improve the reliability and security of the Services.
• To comply with law and enforce our terms.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.

AI processing

Some workflows use AI models from Anthropic to process content from connected accounts, for example to identify actionable email and draft tasks. We send only the content a workflow needs, and that processing is subject to Anthropic's commercial terms. AI output can be wrong, and your firm's people remain responsible for reviewing it.

Google user data

Novren's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

• We use Gmail data only to provide the features you enable.
• We do not use Google Workspace data to develop, improve, or train generalized AI or machine-learning models.
• We do not use Google user data for advertising, and we do not sell it.
• People at Novren do not read your Gmail data unless you ask us to for support, it is needed for security or to comply with law, or the data is aggregated and anonymized.

How we share information

• Service providers. Companies that host, process, or support the Services for us: Supabase (database and authentication), Vercel (website hosting), Railway (background processing), Nylas (mailbox connections), Anthropic (AI processing), Todoist (tasks, when you connect it), and Google and Microsoft (sign-in and mailbox access).
• Your firm. If your firm provides your access, we may share information about your account and use of the Services with your firm to provide and support them.
• Legal and safety reasons. When we believe the law requires it, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Novren, our users, or others.
• Business transfers. As part of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to this policy.

Retention

We keep information while your account is active or as needed to provide the Services. After that, we delete or anonymize it unless the law requires us to keep it. When you disconnect a connected account, we revoke our access to that account.

Security

We use technical and organizational measures designed to protect information, including encryption in transit and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

Your choices

• Disconnect a connected account at any time from the connectors page.
• Revoke Novren's access from your Google or Microsoft account settings.
• Ask us to access, correct, or delete your personal information by emailing maddie@novren.ai.

Children

The Services are for professional use. They are not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes

We may update this policy. When we do, we will post the new version on this page and change the date above.
