Examples of systems Novren can help firms connect

What Novren does

Secure. Connect. Embed. Novren acts as your firm's AI implementation team: the layer between your people, your technology, and the day-to-day work.

Firm environment

  • Approved accounts
  • Permissions
  • Data-handling rules
  • Human-review standard

01

Secure the environment

Approved accounts, permissions, data-handling expectations, and human-review standards. Your people start from a controlled firm environment, not disconnected personal accounts.

Connected systems

02

Connect the work

Bring AI into work your team recognizes: inbox and task flow, matter knowledge, drafting and document review, intake and follow-up, scheduling, research, and client service.

Embed the capability

Build firm-specific workflows, train people on their real work, support adoption, measure what creates capacity, and improve what works.

How an engagement works

A governed, working AI environment in 30 days. Measured from the day required access is granted, with proven building blocks adapted to your firm.

30days

At day 30, your firm has:

  • A secure, governed firm AI environment
  • Practical policies and human-review standards
  • A priority workflow implemented with relevant-user training
  • A defined roadmap for measurement and expansion
  1. 01

    Align and prioritize

Work with leadership and key users to understand current AI use, systems, risk requirements, and the workflows where improvement would matter most.

  2. 02

    Establish the foundation

Configure the environment, access, policies, shared context, and administrative controls required for responsible use.

  3. 03

    Deliver a visible win

Put a contained, useful workflow into practice, train the relevant team, and refine it against live work.

  4. 04

    Measure and expand

Track what creates capacity, support adoption, prioritize the next workflow, and identify future opportunities.

Start with a conversation, not a paid diagnostic.

The introductory working session is a 30-minute conversation to find your firm's highest-friction workflows, current AI exposure, and most practical starting point. If there is a fit, Novren scopes a paid engagement with defined deliverables, timing, and fees.

Book an intro session

Prefer to start smaller?

Novren can begin with a focused AI Readiness Diagnostic: an executive working session, secure environment setup, a governance baseline, a map of current systems, and a prioritized roadmap. Strong fits move directly into full implementation.

Security and control

Responsible use is designed into the environment and the workflow. Each engagement defines approved tools, access, information flow, and human review.

  • 01

    Approved environments

Define which accounts and tools may be used for firm work.

  • 02

    Access and permissions

Configure who can reach which systems, projects, and information.

  • 03

    Data handling

Document what information may be used, where it may flow, applicable vendor terms, and retention expectations.

  • 04

    Human review

Keep professional judgment and firm-defined approval standards in the workflow.

  • 05

    Vendor and connector evaluation

Test integrations and review relevant settings before representing them as ready for sensitive work.

  • 06

    Administrative visibility

Give firm leadership insight into adoption, configuration, and support needs. It is not surveillance of individual legal judgment, or a substitute for managed cybersecurity services.

Who we work with

Built for small and mid-sized law firms that need an AI capability, not another internal department.

Best suited for firms that:

  • Have uneven AI usage and no consistent firm-wide operating model
  • Handle document- and communication-heavy work at meaningful volume
  • See repeatable opportunities across transactions, disputes, IP portfolios, investigations, real estate, or advisory work
  • Want more capacity without building a full internal innovation team
  • Need governance, implementation, and adoption handled as one coordinated effort

Questions firms ask first. Plain answers on systems, confidentiality, and cost.

Do we have to replace our current systems?

Usually not. Novren works with your firm's existing email, document, research, billing, and practice-management systems. We recommend a change only when the benefit clearly justifies the disruption.

Can confidential or privileged information be used?

That depends on the tool, contract, configuration, information, and firm policy. Before sensitive information enters a workflow, Novren helps your firm identify the applicable vendor terms, access controls, retention settings, and approval requirements. Final policy decisions remain with your firm and its counsel.

Is firm or client information used to train vendor models?

Training and data-use terms differ by vendor and product tier. Novren evaluates the relevant terms and settings with your firm rather than making a universal claim.

Will AI produce final legal work without review?

No. Novren designs legal workflows around human review, professional judgment, and your firm's approval standards. AI supports the work; it does not replace the responsible attorney.

Does Novren specialize in Claude?

Yes. Novren is a Claude implementation specialist. We configure Claude for your firm's environment, connect it to the systems where work already happens, and build the governance, context, workflows, and adoption practices responsible use requires. We still evaluate other tools when a firm requirement calls for them.

What does an engagement cost?

Scope depends on firm size, systems, access requirements, and the workflows involved. After the introductory session, Novren provides defined deliverables, timing, and fees for any proposed paid engagement.
